Director Nag Ashwin confirmed Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 has begun shooting. The team has filmed for approximately ten days so far.
Major shooting will commence once actor Prabhas becomes available for the project. Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan have shared glimpses from the sets.
The sequel continues the science fiction and mythology blend from the first film.
