Actress Shelley Fabares, known for 'The Donna Reed Show' and 'Coach', has passed away. Her family confirmed her death was due to pneumonia following a brief illness.

Fabares had previously undergone a liver transplant after battling autoimmune hepatitis. She began her entertainment career as a child and later achieved singing success.

Her husband, actor Mike Farrell, survives her.
