Juventus have completed a busy conclusion to the transfer window by securing midfield reinforcement Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham Hotspur and arranging a temporary deal for Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade.

The Serie A giants will initially bring Sarr to Turin on a temporary arrangement costing approximately 2.5 million euros. The agreement includes a conditional obligation that could permanently transfer the 23-year-old Senegal international to Italy for 27.5 million euros if specific performance milestones are achieved throughout the upcoming campaign.

Sarr departs north London after establishing himself as a regular fixture following his arrival from Metz five years ago. During his tenure with Tottenham, the midfielder surpassed a century of Premier League appearances and contributed to the club's continental success by winning the Europa League in 2025. At the international level, he has earned over forty caps for Senegal and played a role in their 2022 Africa Cup of Nations triumph.

Alongside the arrival of Sarr, Luciano Spalletti's squad finalized an agreement to bring Woltemade to Italy for the remainder of the season. The Bianconeri will pay a loan fee of 3.5 million euros to secure the 24-year-old German attacker, with the arrangement containing no permanent purchase option.

Juventus pursued attacking reinforcements as Jonathan David prepared to finalize a temporary switch to Atletico Madrid. The Italian club also evaluated alternative options, including Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee, before ultimately deciding that Woltemade represented a more cost-effective and tactically suitable acquisition.

Newcastle permitted the temporary departure after completing a significant attacking investment of their own by acquiring Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille. Although Woltemade recently contributed an assist during a weekend victory over Tottenham, regular starting opportunities under manager Matthias Jaissle had been limited since the beginning of the campaign. The forward is scheduled to undergo a medical examination in Turin to finalize the transfer ahead of the deadline.
