Iconic Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit recently took a nostalgic trip down memory lane during a television appearance, sharing a lighthearted behind-the-scenes anecdote about the making of the classic 1994 family drama Hum Aapke Hain Koun.

Dixit reunited with her former co-stars Renuka Shahane and Priya Berde on the sets of the Marathi reality game show Kon Honar Crorepati. During the special episode, the trio reminisced about their time working together on the landmark project directed by Sooraj Barjatya.

The conversation turned toward the meticulous working style of the filmmaker, prompting Dixit to reveal a humorous habit of his during production. She noted that Barjatya had a distinct routine of wearing a brand-new pair of footwear at the start of every single filming schedule.

However, the director's intense focus and energetic involvement on set meant he spent a great deal of time standing on his toes to supervise scenes and guide his actors. This constant pressure gradually stretched and deformed the brand-new footwear.

Adding to the anecdote, Shahane chimed in with a playful observation of her own. She joked that by the time a particular shooting schedule wrapped up, the pristine shoes would be completely worn out and resemble traditional, loose-fitting ethnic footwear known as mojaris.

Released over three decades ago, Hum Aapke Hain Koun remains a monumental milestone in Indian cinema. The film set new benchmarks for box office success and family entertainment, largely due to Barjatya's distinct directorial vision and the warm chemistry among the cast.

The recent television reunion highlighted the enduring bonds forged among the actors during that historic production. Fans of the classic film responded enthusiastically to the lighthearted revelations shared by the leading ladies on the quiz show stage.
